The CASE – Wiltshire Award of Excellence in Supported Employment recognizes outstanding individuals, or agencies that have made significant contributions to the promotion of full citizenship and personal capacity for persons with disabilities through the facilitation of increased labour market participation and outcomes, within Canada.

Nomination details

Awarded by the Canadian Association for Supported Employment (CASE), the award has been created in recognition of the involvement of Mr. Sean Wiltshire, the founding President of CASE, who also initiated the first National Supported Employment Conference, currently celebrating its 24th year.

The CASE – Mark Wafer Award for Business Excellence recognizes outstanding businesses that have made significant contributions to the promotion of full citizenship and personal capacity for persons with disabilities through the facilitation of increased labour market participation and outcomes, within Canada. 

Nomination details

Awarded by the Canadian Association for Supported Employment, the award has been created to underline the work of Mr. Mark Wafer, a Transformational Change Leader in the field of disability and work, inspired by his own success as an inclusive employer as the former owner of 6 Tim Hortons restaurants, and co-founder of Canadian Business SenseAbility.
